Magnavox Odyssey

Ralph Baer led a small team to create the worlds first home video game console. Shipping with a table tennis game, Magnavox would sue Atari over Pong.

Pong

Nov 29, 1972

Al Alcorn creates Pong for Nolan Bushnell (founder of Atari.) This begins the modern Arcade era.

Apple II

Jun 1, 1977

Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs release the Apple II. In this same year Commodore would release the PET and Tandy would release the TRS-80. Selling millions, the age of the home computer really begins.

Atari VCS

Atari releases the Video Computer System. The first successful home video game system.
