The Battle of Saratoga was in 1777 and was a turning point in the revolutionary war and France joined the war to help the colonists. -

Winter at valley forge was in 1777-1778 and was when Gorge Washington and his troops camped for the winter near the French to get training from them. -
Battle of Yorktown
The Battle of Yorktown was in 1781 and was the last battle of the American Revolution and the British surrendered. -
Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris recognized U.S. Independence in 1783 and was the end of the American Revolution.
