It did things such as: send foreign ambassadors to foreign countries, it printed its own currency, got loans, and even raised their own army. -
The Olive Branch Petition
The Olive Branch Petition was an attempt made by the colonists in attempts to avoid getting involved in a war with Great Britain. The Olive Petition stated that the colonists pledged their loyalty to to the Crown and asserted their rights as British citizens. -
