In an attempt to help the government with its' financial issues, Louis calls the estates general. It ultimitely ended with the creation of the National Assembly. -

Storming of the Bastille
The citizens were finally fed up with their hunger, and hearing rumors of attack from the government was the final straw. The citizens marched up to the Bastille and broke into the fortress. The citizens forced Marquis de Launay, the governer of the Bastille to surrender. -

The peasant woman marched on the Palace of Versailles due to the high price of bread. -

Robespierre comes to power
The National Convention creats a branch called the Comitee For Public Safety. Maximilien Robespierre becomes the leader of the Comitee and becomes something of a dictator -
The Terror
Robespierre was executing any person who said anything against the revolution. Thousands of people found death at the Guillotine. -
Robespierre Killed
Robespierre is tried and found guilty, and is sentenced to death by his own machine, the guillotine. This brings an end to the Regin of Terror that he caused. -
Declaration of the Rights of Man
The National Assembly believed that all the social issues were due to the lack of rights. As a solution they wrote the Rights of Man that every man is entitled to.
