Economic Recession
There was an economic recession going on in 2007 at the time when I was born -
Born with a twin
I was born on July 17, 2007, at 7:18 pm at Spectrum in Grand Rapids. I weighed 6 pounds and was 17 inches long -
First talked
I said my first words at around 1 year old -
My grandma taught me violin
I learned to play violin when I was young. This is one of the ways I spent quality time with my Grandma. -
First started Pre School
I started pre school st 3 years old with my twin sister while we were living in Michigan -
First played soccer
I first learned how to play soccer when I was 4 years old -
Moved to Illinois
My dad got a new job and my family moved to Illinois when I was 5 years old. -
Boston Marathon Bombing

My little sister was born
I was 6 years old when my little sister was born. My twin sister and I loved to take care of her and play with her. -
Family Reunion in NY
All of my dad's side of the family got together in New York for a family reunion. We all rented cabins and this memory stuck out to me because we rarely see my dad's extended family because they live so far away. -
Moved back to Michigan
My dad got a new job and we moved back to Michigan. I was 8 years old in the middle of 3rd grade. This is a significant life event for me because we get to be close to much of our family now that we are back in Michigan. -
Went to Gulf Shores with my family
This was one of the first years we actually took a spring break vacation. My whole mom's side of the family was there. -
Went camping with my cousins
This was one of the most fun vacations when I was little because I was super close with my cousins and we hung out all the time. -
I started club volleyball
This was one of my first years on a club team and I played with my sister. -
Covid- 19

I got a dog
My sisters and I had wanted a dog for a while so we were super excited when my parents let us get one. Unfortunately, it only lasted for a few weeks and the dog got sick and we had to give it back to the breeder. -
Twin sister switched schools
My twin sister Lucy switched from Byron Center to Triunity school. -
Started working
I got my first job in the summer after freshman year -
Started drivers training
This was a busy summer because we had the class and drives scheduled a lot. -
I started driving
I turned 16 and started driving. I felt like I had so much more freedom and ability to do what I wanted. -
Start of senior year
I started senior year and made so many new memories with friends and I am having a fun year.
