The first unsolicited commercial email message (later known as spam), was sent
out to 600 California Arpanet users by Gary Thuerk. -
MUD
The earliest form of multiplayer games was debuted- The precursor to World of
Warcraft and Second Life was developed in 1979, and was called MUD (short for MultiUser
Dungeon). MUDs were entirely text-based virtual worlds, combining elements of role-playing games,
interactive, fiction, and online chat. -
The First Emoticon
The first emoticon was used While many people credit Kevin MacKenzie
with the invention of the emoticon in 1979, it was Scott Fahlman in 1982 who proposed using :-)
after a joke, rather than the original -) proposed by MacKenzie. -
The domain name system was created The first Domain Name Servers (DNS) was created.
The
domain name system was important in that it made addresses on the Internet more human-friendly
compared to its numerical IP address counterparts. DNS servers allowed Internet users to type in an
easy-to- remember domain name and then converted it to the IP address automatically. -

Berners-Lee, based on his proposal from the year before, along with the standards for HTML, HTTP,
and URLs. -

The first text message was sent in 1992 from Neil Papworth, a former developer at Sema Group Telecoms. Mobile phones didn't have keyboards at the time, so Papworth had to type the message on a PC. The first ever IPhone was invented on June 29, 2007, and is the current Phone I own. -
MacBook Air is released
Steve Jobs introduced the first MacBook Air during a speech at his keynote at the 2008 Macworld conference on January 15, 2008. The first-generation MacBook Air was a 13.3"-only model, initially promoted as the world's thinnest notebook. -

Snapchat was released in India on September 2011, and is a message and social media platform I use regularly. -
No Man's Sky is Launched
No Man's Sky is an action-adventure survival video game developed and published by the indie studio Hello Games for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. It was released worldwide in August 2016. The playing field is rumored and confirmed by Hello Games to be infinite. -
Amazon is Created and Launched
Amazon.com, Inc., doing business as Amazon, is an American electronic commerce and cloud computing company based in Seattle, Washington that was founded by Jeff Bezos on July 5, 1994. It was LAUNCHED on March 17th, 2017.
