My parents split up when I was 9. I left home when I was 16 and lived with my best friend for a year until I got my own place. Her mother has a special place in my heart, I am forever indebted to her.

I started taking care of my grandma when I was 18 until she passed when I was 22. She taught me so much about values, strength, determination. I loved every minute I had with her. -
