Earliest terrestrial plants and animals. Tikataalik Euryoterids develop. -
Devonian 395-345 MYA
Armored fish go extinct but there was an abundance of several species of fish. Earliest amphibians and ammonites. -
Carboniferous 345-280 MYA
The Mississippian and Pennsylvanian. Abundant sharks and amphibians. There were large swamps and coal was forming. Earliest reptiles found. -
Permian 280-225 MYA
Extinction of many types of marine animals including trilobites. -
Triassic 225-195 MYA
Earliest dinosaurs and abundant cycads and conifers. -
Jurassic 195-136 MYA
Earliest birds and mammals were abundant. Dinosaurs and ammonites were also present. -
Cretaceous 136-65 MYA
Earliest flowering plants. Climax of dinosaurs followed by their extinction. Great decline of brachiopods. There was an abundance of bony fish. -

Earliest placental mammals. Modern mammals and large running mammals werre present as well. -

Large carnivores and neanderthals. Humans evolved and mastodons.
