Karl Popper’s, The Logic of Scientific Discovery (Logik der Forschung) was originally published in German in 1934, re written in English in 1959.
Karl Popper emerged as a major critic of inductivism, with his publication of The Logic of Scientific Discovery, as he believed the inductive methodology to be a limiting scientific process. Popper replaced the ancient empirical scientific method with falsification in order to distinguish science from non-science. -
The Poverty of Historicism
“In memory of the countless men and women of all creeds or nations or races who fell victim to the fascist and communist belief in Inexorable Laws of Historical Destiny.” Popper argues that we can not predict the future by looking at historical events, as historicism is based on the theory that events in history have been governed by laws. Popper argues that there are endless possibilities due to the list of characteristics making up such a description would be infinite. -

Sire Karl Popper - Dies
On September 17,1994, Sire Karl Popper passed at the age of 92. Reportedly, his death was due to complications from cancer. At the end he suffered with pneumonia and kidney failure.
