  • The French and Indian War

    The French and Indian War
    The British invaded and evicted two French forts in Nova Scotia. But when General Edward Braddock marched into a French ambush half of his men died. It would of been more if it wasn't for the skillful retreat by George Washington
  • British Turn The Tides

    British Turn The Tides
    In 1758 the British cut off French Shipping to North America. This made the American Indians fight on the British Side. But in 1760 the British captured Montreal and forced the French Colonial General to surrender Canada
  • The Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris
    The Treaty of Paris ended the War. The British kept Canada, The Great Lakes Region, the Ohio River Valley and Florida
  • Pontiac's rebellion

    Pontiac's rebellion
    American Indians rebelled. These rebellions were lead by an Ottawa chief named Pontiac. Their main goal was to weaken the British so the French could come back. This didn't work and they lost the war
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp act required Colonists to pay a tax on all printed materials such as newspapers, books, and court documents
  • The Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre
    A group of colonists threw rocks and snowballs at British Soldiers guarding the customs house. The soldiers got nervous and shot into the crowd killing 5 colonists
