Lyte-r than the dark
This is a fictional event. Johnny wants to have lots of money so he decides to tell Merchant Lyte that they are family. Merchant Lyte doesn't believe that Johnny is his family and Johnny wants to bring in his cup to prove that they are family. August - September -
September - November
This is fictional. Johnny gets into Whig politics. He also gets to learn about the group called the Boston Observers which is held in the room where he and Rab sleeps. -
Johnny Burns hand
It is a fictional part of the book when Johnny melts his hand. When Dove gives Johnny a cracked crucible and it brakes after Johnny put silver into it. The silver pours everywhere and Johnny accidentally puts his hand into the molten silver. It is July 1773. -
Boston Tea Party
The event was a real event. Johnny assists the Boston Tea Party by breaking open chests and dumping the tea into the sea. The date was December 1773. -
Trial
This is a fictional event. Johnny is accused of taking Merchant Lyte's cup and thrown in jail and brought to trial. Johnny wins the trial and is freed from jail. The date is September 1773. -
September - November
This is a fictional event. Johnny becomes a rider for the Boston Observer. He gets to ride a jumpy horse named Goblin. Johnny gets to live with Rab. -
Learns the truth
This is not a real-life event. Johnny, while helping Cilla in the Lyte home finds out who his father was and why they said it was impossible he could be her son. The dates are June-July 1774. -
Final Meeting, August
The event may probably be fictional. Johnny gets to attend the final meeting of the Boston Observers. He gets to hear Mr. Otis speak and finds his words disterbing and wonderful at the same time. Mr. Otis predicts R=that Rab will die. -
June I think
This is fictional. Johnny begins to deliver mail for the redcoats so he can spy on them for the rebels. he becomes on good terms with them after a while, which makes his spy work even easier. -
Dove
A fictional event so far. So far most of Fall this happened I think. Johnny playes nice with Dove so he can get information from him. -
Pumpkin
This is a fictional event. Johnny helps Pumpkin escape his service in the British army. In return for Johnny's help, Pumpkin gives Johnny his rifle, which in turn Johnny gives to Rab. March 1775. -
Pumpkin is dead now
This is a fictional event. Johnny while giving Nan and Sandy some exercise, a firing squad sets up nearby. Johnny sees that Pumpkin was caught for deserting the army and gets shot up by the firing squad. March 1775 -
RAB IS GONE :(
This is fictional. Rab leaves home for Lexington to fight there. Johnny refused to say goodbye. -
Campaign saddle
This is a fictional event. Johnny realizes Captian Smith is going on a campaign for a while. This made him also see that that is when the British troops were going to Lexington soon. -
RAB IS DEAD ;~;
This was fictional. Johnny gets to Lexington and talks with Rab while he is dying (Rab is the one dying, not Johnny). Rab gives Johnny his musket the makes Johnny leave the room. Rab then dies of internal bleeding. (the picture represents me when I read that part at home)
