JFK was shot at about 12:30 pm by Lee Harvey Oswald while campaigning in Dallas for the 1964 elections.
Hidden on the sixth floor of the Texas School Books Depository, Oswald used a sniper rifle to pick off JFK as he was driven through Dallas, Texas.
Three shots were fired at JFK’s motorcade as it turned onto Dealey Plaza. Two of the bullets hit the President. Link is provided for autopsy report which was conducted 22nd November, 1963 at 2000 hrs.
