John Bell was born
John Bell was born on January 24th, 2001 at Bergen Mercy Catholic Hospital in Omaha. I was 9 pounds, 10 ounces, and I have heard I was a nice looking baby! A nun from St. Philip Neri visited my mom and me right after I was born. -
John Bell's Baptism
I was baptized at St. Philip Neri Church where my mom worked. Father Dan Kampschnieder was my Priest. This is an important day in my Spiritual life! My grandparents flew from Florida to be with me. -
John Bell walks for the first time!
I walked for the first time! My parents remember the day it happened. This was a huge deal for them. -
John Bell starts Kindergarten at St. Cecilia's
I start Kindergarten with my friend, Ty. My teacher was Mrs. Luebbert, and she was the sweetest teacher ever. -
John Bell and All Saints
John Bell researches John the Baptist for All Saints Day in Mrs. Swanson's First Grade class. I got to dress up as John the Baptist. My whole class walked to Via Christe to share our costumes. -
John Bell recites the Nativity Story in 1st grade
I had learned and prepared for reciting the Nativity and the story of how Jesus was born. Because of this, I now know the story of how Jesus was born. -
John Bell's First Holy Communion
I had my First Holy Communion today. I was very nervous, but was excited to have Jesus inside of me. My grandparents flew from Florida to be with me. -
John Bell starts Third grade
I started Third grade, and I had a blast that year! I learned Science, Math, and Cursive. These skills later helped me with my studies in Junior High. -
John Bell gets Pickles
Today, I had adopted Pickles! He was a cute, fat beagle who loved food! I played with him every day! He was my friend. He was sick with heartworm when we rescued him from the Humane Society. -
John Bell gets LuLu
Today, I got Pickles a companion! LuLu! She is a beagle and just as hungry as Pickles! They slept together and also played together. Two peas in a pod! -
John Bell gets into Operetta
Today, they announced Operetta and I got in! I was a dancer and I loved every moment! It was super fun! -
John Bell starts Sixth grade
Today, I started Sixth grade. While it was a horrible year, I still had a good time. I have many memories and my classmates and I laugh at them every day. -
John Bell starts Seventh Grade
Today I started Seventh Grade and was officially in Junior High! It was loads of fun and I have many good memories from it. -
John Bell helps with the Community of South Omaha
In Roots and Shoots club, I helped bake some brownie cookies to give for a potluck for a grand opening of a building. -
John Bell starts Science Fair
Today,I began to work on Science Fair. The journey would be long and hard, but I knew I could do it! My Science Fair project was "What liquid is best for growing plants?" I grew green beans. -
John Bell helps with Math Fair
Today, I helped with Math Fair. I ran the snacks booth which was super fun! I loved it so much, and it was great to see the enitre school doing math in an engaging activity. -
John Bell gets into Operetta
Today, I got into Operetta again! I was Tyler, the weird newspaper boy.I had to go every day to rehearsal, which was SUPER fun! Everyone loved the play, so that was awesome! -
John Bell finishes Science Fair
Today,I presented my Science Fair prject to the parents and facility of St. Cecilia's. Afterwards, I had pancakes! -
John Bell writes his first novel!
This summer, I wrote an 80 page book, not double spaced, novel. This was a goal I set in May of 2014, and I am glad I finished it. -
John Bell begins Eighth Grade
Today, I begin Eighth grade. I know it will be a fun, but tough, year. I cannot wait to do History Days and talk about Jim Jones, as he is a leader (cough)! -

Right now, I am working on my timeline. This is important because I can see how my life is so far, and think of goals to set this year!
