Published the book "Astronomia nova"
Kepler published his book "Astronomia nova" (New Astronomy which included his first two laws of planetary motion. His first law: The law of ellipses, stated that the orbit of a planet is an ellipse where one focus of the ellipse is the sun. Kepler's second law: Law of Equal Areas, stated that a line from the planet to the sun sweeps out equal areas in equal amounts of time. -
Kepler collaborated with Galileo
Gelileo sought the opinion of Kepler to boost the credibility of his own observations. Kepler published his respose "Dissertatio cum Nuncio Sidereo" (Conversation with the Starry Messenger) where he endorsed Galileo's observations on telescopic observations. -
Kepler published "Harmonices Mundi" (World Harmony
