Jimoel (age 5). His parents decided to sent Jimoel to kindergarten to be able to learn new things in school. In Erikson's third stage, named "Initiative v.s Guilt", children at this stage like to explore and like to be independent on their own. Children can overcome the challenges that is given to them, but if they sense failure they ask for assistance from the teachers or parents, when they may felt the sense of guilt.. -

Jimoel (age 29) and Joanne decided to tight a knot as it symbolizes of their love and eternity, with no beginning and no end but through infinity and beyond. In Erikson's sixth stage named "Intimacy v.s Isolation", early adult years felt the intimacy as they interact to the people around them, especially with their partner. They also wanted to be separated by their parents and make their own family as they got married to keep the privacy and be independent. -
It's Time for My Retirement
October 23, 1974
At the age of 65. He decided to retire from being a seaman, but he felt he haven't done much in his 65 years of his life. In Erikson's last stage "Integrity v.s Despair", people in late adulthood may sense of their fulfillment through their whole life. As they flashback the past, they may feel content as they have lived their life to the fullest. But in other hand, if they feel they haven't done enough in their whole life, it would be more likely to felt the sense of despair.
