    Happened when Nikita Khrushchev promised to back up the USSR with arms. Americans began getting worried when the transport of missiles from Soviet Union to Cuba increased in the year 1962, and the public began getting scared when photos were released. Luckily, nuclear was avoided when Khrushchev and Kennedy made a compromise stating that the Soviet Union would cease sending arms if US would not invade Cuba.

The plan was to overthrow Castro, but the CIA underestimated the military force of Cuba, so nothing went as planned and was complete failrure, a fiasco. Kennedy took full blame.

    This was the first freedom ride, and it ended horribly. There was bus carrying both white and black and people. Then. the group decided to break up into two groups, but each group encountered a severe attack within ten days from the original voyage. It shocked the nation and was public news.

    Berlin was divided into West and East Germany. The East was Communist, so many people from the East escaped into the West, making the economic situation unbearable for the East side. Khrushchev wanted to sign a treaty with East Berlin, so they could close all acess roads to West Berlin, but Kennedy refused. The wall was built with increasing tensions between the US and Soviet Union.

    On a trip to Dallas to mend the fences between the Democratic Party, Kennedy in an open-air limousine and died. Lyndon Johnson took office that night, and all work stop for the funeral. Harvey Lee Oswald was convited of the murder, but it's possible there was more than one person involved.
