However, the history of blogging goes back further, with early forms of online journals and diaries emerging in the 1990s. The first true blog,linknet. was created in January 1994 by Justin Hall, a student at Swarthmore College. The term "weblog" was first used by Jorn Barger in December 1997 to describe a "log" of his internet activity

    The first MP3 player was released in 1997 by Saehan Information Systems in South Korea. It was called the MPMan F10. The MP3 format itself was developed in the 1980s by the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany. The MPMan F10 was a flash-based player with a limited storage capacity of 32MB or 64MB, which meant you could only store a few songs on it. It also had a small LCD screen that displayed the song title.
