The term "blog" was coined in May 1999 by Peter Merholz, who jokingly broke the word "weblog" into the phrase "we blog" in the sidebar of his blog, peterme.com. However, the history of blogging goes back further, with early forms of online journals and diaries emerging in the 1990s. Mp3 Player
The first MP3 player was released in 1997 by Saehan Information Systems in South Korea. It was called the MPMan F10. The MP3 format itself was developed in the 1980s by the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany. The MPMan F10 was a flash-based player with a limited storage capacity of 32MB or 64MB, which meant you could only store a few songs on it. It also had a small LCD screen that displayed the song title. -

The first VHS player was released in late 1976 in Japan by the Victor Company of Japan (JVC). The VHS format was designed to be a consumer-level analog video recording system that used tape cassettes. It was a competitor to the Sony Betamax system, and eventually won the "format war" due to its longer recording time and lower cost. The first VHS player to be released in the United States was in mid-1977. -
