King Luis is scared that he will get killed if he stays and so he attempts to flee with his wife, Marie. There were also different factions, people for the king and people against the king and moderates. -

King Luis is killed by the Guillotin and other kings are scared because they don't want their countries to rebel against them so they declare war before his death. The radical Marat is killed. -
Robespierre is killed by the same machine he killed so many with, the Guillotine
Robespierre is killed for the murder of so many and the fear he instilled in the people of France.
