The Japanese military start to invade Manchuria due to need of raw materials and resources, power and land. This also due to social and political changes, military expansion, weak government and rise of ultranationalism. -
Manchuria renamed Manchukuo due to Japanese occupation
Manchuria was renamed Manchukuo and a new government was establish under the Japanese army's control. Following the invasion, the Japanese Military took over the Japanese politics completely. An authoritarian state was created and taught students to obey the emperor and government unconditionally. -

The Japanese attempted many assassinations of key minsters including finance minister Takahashi Korekiyo. The Prime minister Inukai Tsuyoshi did happen to get assassinated by a young naval officer. -
