The shinmoedake volcano ereupts two days after the earthwuake and tsunami, it is not known if the tow are connected. -

Nearly a month afterwords, an aftershock happens in Miyagi, leaving 4 dead and more than a hundred injured; Resulted in a large scale power outage in the Tohoku region. -
APRIL 2011 FUKUSHIMA EARTHQUAKE
An earthquake occurs in Fukushima, an aftershock of the original earthquake. 3 are confirmed dead, and 6 injured. It caused landslides and local power outages. It caused a meltdown of the Fukushima Daichi Powerplant. -
