Zenko Suzuki

Jul 17, 1980

Zenko Suzuki was appointed Prime minister of Japan. He resigned after two years.

USS George Washington

Apr 9, 1981

The submarine USS George Washington ran into the Japanese freighter Nissho Maru. Two Japanese cremen were killed in the process.

Plane bombed

Aug 11, 1982

Pan Am flight 830 from Tokyo to Honolulu was bombed. The bomb was planted by a splinter group from the Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The explosion killed a teenager and wounded 15 others.

Plane Crash

Aug 12, 1985

Japan Airlines Boeing 747 crashed into Mount Otsuka 70 miles Northwest of Tokyo. 520 out of 524 people on board died.

Bombing in Naples

Apr 16, 1988

The Japanese Red Army bombed a U.S. military recreational club in Naples. Five U.S. soldiers were killed.

Emperor Hirohito death

Jan 7, 1989

Emperor Hirohito died at the age of 87. He had the longest reign in the history of Japan (1922-1989).

Earthquake

Jul 12, 1993

196 people were killed when an earthquake measuring 7.8 struck northern Japan. Property losses were an estimated $600 million.

Nerve Gas Sarin

Jun 21, 1994

Seven people died and over 200 were sickened by fumes from lethal nerve gas sarin in Matsumoto in Central Japan. It was an act of domestic terrorism by Aum Shinrikyo.

Nuclear Power Plant

Japan announced that it will begin a new nuclear power plant in Higashidori in December. 51 nuclear power plants supplied one-third of the nations power.

We took a cruise to St. Thomas on Norwegian cruiselines. We went to Magens Bay.

Broken Arm

On the second day of kindergarten i broke my arm. I broke it at the Monestary on the blue slide. My arm bent completely backwards.

Visit Punta Cana

We stayed at Club Med in Punta Cana. I took archery lessons here and went underwater for the first time without goggles.

Dog

I got my dog Shelby who i still have today. We got her in Connecticut and she is eleven years old.

Braces

I got Braces from George Family Orthedontics. I had them for five years and got them off in 2010.

Visit Bahamas

We went to the Bahamas and we stayed at Club Med in Columbus Isle. We visited the spot where Columbus landed.

Florida

We went to Animal Kingdom and Seaworld. I also played a lot of golf down there.

Graduate Highschool

Economy Growth
