    The Battle of Horseshoe Bend was a battle that took place during the war of 1812. The battle was fought in Mississippi territory. Jackson, who was a general at the time, defeated the natives against US westward expansion.

    The Battle of New Orleans was a significant battle led by General Andrew Jackson. In this battle, Jackson prevented the British from gaining New Orleans which was followed by the treaty of Ghent, thus ending the war.

    Due to the conflicts in Georgia, Jackson asked the congress to pass a law that would keep the natives West of the Mississippi river. This act was known as the Indian Removal Act. The trail of tears was a result of this act being executed.

    This was a supreme court case. The US Supreme Court rules that the Georgia law requiring white residents to hold a license in order to stand on Cherokee lands defies the political rights of the tribe. Marshall ruled the Cherokees are a seperate nation.

    Jackson asked congress to pass a new tariff to help the nations economy. The tariff was looked as if it was favored to the north rather than the whole country. SC really hated this they nullified the tariff and when things got out of they even tried to secede. Jackson haddled the issue and there was no civil war with SC

    Jackson already hates the national bank because it gives to much power to the president of the bank. The president of the bank wanted another bank for the nation so he issues a charter. Jackson vetos the charter and creates smaller banks al over the nation. This turns out to be a complete fail because everyone goes to get their money, but the bank does not have it.
