But Georgia thinks that the US inherited the rights of Great Britain----the right to force out of your homeland. The famous John Marshall also comes into play in this case.

    The tariffs on South Carolina's goods were though to be unconstitutional since agriculture was the main part of SC's trading merchandise. The tariff of abominations was earlier passed to regulate competition rates between the US and European markets. South Carolina threatened to secede if those wer'nt repealed. The Nullification was useless at that point---or at a crisis.
