Bank War
Jackson thought the bank was violating privileges on financial elites, and U.S. constitutional principles of social equality. Andrew Jackson failed the Second Bank for good-------that was one thing he did good. -
Indian Removal Act
Jackson Moved the Indians out of Georgia---- he thought that there will be more happy people that are moving in, and a growth to economy and population. That also tattered the relations with Indians, and that began the tragic removals till 1900. -
Worcester v. Georgia
A debate which changed the Indians fate forever: Samuel Worcester thought that the Indians Claimed the land and had the right to remain there since birth. But Georgia thinks that the US inherited the rights of Great Britain----the right to force out of your homeland. The famous John Marshall also comes into play in this case. -
Nullification Crisis
The tariffs on South Carolina's goods were though to be unconstitutional since agriculture was the main part of SC's trading merchandise. The tariff of abominations was earlier passed to regulate competition rates between the US and European markets. South Carolina threatened to secede if those wer'nt repealed. The Nullification was useless at that point---or at a crisis.
