Jackie started going to UCLA September 1 1939. This was Jackie's First time living away from his family he was living in Los Angeles he thought that this school will bring him the bet opportunities in the future for him.

    On October 22 1972 Jackie Robinson threw the opening pitch for the world series in the Brooklyn Dodgers stadium. People said that Jackie appeared to be in a tremendous amount of pain. Just two days later Jackie Robinson died after a long hard battle with diabetes.
