The stamp act is when you get taxed on paper on paper like newspaper,playing cards,and documents. Many colonists didn't think it was fair to tax them on paper.Some colonists got angry,so they were protesting

townshend acts

In the Townshend Acts are when you get taxed for glass,paint,and tea.The colonists got angry at King Gorge.The colonists didn't think buy any British goods.

Boston Massacre

In Boston angry words and violence became common between British soldiers and colonists.The crowd insulted British troops and were throwing snowballs,rocks,and oyster shells.

Coercive Acts

Mar 10, 1774

In 1774 Parliment passed the Coercive Acts. The colonist had to pay for all the tea they had dumped.The Corecive Acts are also called the "Intolerable Acts" because they were so severe.

Boston Tea Party

In December 16,1776 colonist took over the British ships in Boston Harbor.This event was known as the Boston Tea Party.When the Mohawk Indians (colonists) took over British ships and the Boston Harbor, they dumped all the tea.
