A major error in the coolant flow control of the Tsiolkovsky's Nuclear Lightbulb Reactor resulted in severe damage to the reactor-engine assembly. The mission seems to have ground to a halt before it even began.

A bacterium spreads around Hide's kitchen, creating reliefs of middle fingers on every wooden surface. The ship is quarantined and put under lockdown, every surface is disinfected systematically over the course of a few days. Samples of the contaminated wood are sent to different labs for analysis.
Bacteria analysis shows that they are probably an accidental mutation from some synthetic bio lab, with custom markers in their DNA. -

Returning from a failed business negotiation, Ze Businessman's New Collins shuttle is attacked by unknown aircraft. After a tricky rendezvous with its 2nd stage, the New Collins, pushed by its single saber engine at max thrust goes into orbit. Ze passes out, and next he comes to, he is stuck on a derelict New Collins Shuttle with no fuel and no engines. A squad of ASTRA First Responders is dispatched immediately from New Babylon, spearheaded by Cpt. JoJo. The ASTRA squad successfully rescue him. -
The EVA Practice squad, led by Gunther the Master of Checklists is transferring a simulated Tsiolkovsky Engine. Jane has a sudden epiphany after messing around with her sensors and implants. The final bits of the transfer involve a curveball from Pavel, who sends the entire ballute representing the Tsiolkovsky spinning. The group, with Jane's help manage to stabilise the spin using the APLTVs as yo-yo de-spinners, and with a few additional snags the engine is docked successfully. -
After a series of intense cooking montages - and a failed michi chocolate cake - Hide succeeds to get all her food ready. In the meantime, Barinov has been hard at work too. Groups of Yandex robots have been showing up with well wishes, food samples and taunts.
After a party with live music, Hide Ito is officially recorded by Gunther von Duisburg to be the victor, 4-1 against Ze businessman. Victor Petrovich Barinov receives no votes. The other 45 or so guests are comatose on the floor. -
A mystery ship arrives at the Itokawa. It is part of an Interpol operation led by Col. Erik Bjornsson to intercept a terrorist suspected to be onboard. The crew find themselves in the middle of the op. The medbay is severely damaged by a booby trap, and despite Interpol's and the crew's best efforts, the suspect escapes on a modified anti-sat missile. -
Everyone wakes up to find a letter (or sometimes a parcel) with their name printed on it.
The letters lead the crew to discover a set of servers and suspicious hardware deep inside the Itokawa's nest of cargo containers. -
Anton fails to show up for work in the morning. He hasn't been heard of since. -
The grand Gunther v Greta Duel is in full swing - after an intense fight, Gunther takes the lead, but barely. Preparing for a final decisve bout, Gunther takes a quick break, and seems to return from it in a worse state. He wins the decisive bout nontheless and is victorious! After the match, an investigation is launched into alleged doping, and traces of a sedative are found in Gunther's blood. The jury decides to investigate the match further, and Gunther offers to have a re-match.

Gunther's friend Paolo Nespoli, along with many others send pictures of tentacles growing out of the newly installed engine assembly. Some news stories on it. The original picture is labelled “Space Ship Katalia”. Gunther goes over to the ship to verify, and Paolo convinces him to keep the hoax going, photoshopping tentacles onto his own pictures of it. -
