March on Rome
Benito Mussolini and the National Fascist Party organized a march to Rome, to demand the resignation of the the Prime Minister Luigi Facta. As a result king Victor Emanuel III. appointed Mussolini as the Prime Minister, and this event marks the start of the Fascist rule in Italy. -
Acerbo Law
The Acerbo Law awarded two-thirds of the parliamentary seats to the party with the most votes. This law helped to strenghten the power of the Fascist Party. -

Death of the Duce
After being rescued by the German forces, Mussolini established a puppet state in Northern Italy, but as the Allied forces advanced, the partisans captured and executed him on April 28,1945.
