    Italy captures Ventia and allies itself with Prussia. This was one of the first steps of Italy starting to separate itself from Austria.

    Italy and Prussia signed an agreement that supported Italy's acquisition of Venetia. This was an important step in the Italians taking action against Austria, to later become independant.
