Sudden Disappearence
In 1590, 100 men, women, and children disappeared from The Roanoke Colony with no signs of what happened. All that was found was the word ''Croatoan" carved on a tree. -
The First Colony

In 1621, a celebration was held with the Native Americans as a show of thanks for helping the English survive a hard year. -
The Puritans
In 1628, the Puritans arrived. They had come to practice religious beliefs but they didn't want to break away from the Church of England, they just wanted to make it more ''pure''. -
William Penn and Pennyslvania
In 1682, Quakers settle in Pennsylvania. William Penn was given the land from the King since the King already had to repay William's father. -
The Georgia Colony
In 1732, the Georgia Colony was founded by James Oglethorpe and a few other colonists.
