BMW began constructing automobiles in 1928 by purchasing Fahrzeugfabrik Eisenach. -

Aircraft construction received financial support from the goverment. -
Munich Plant is Disabled
In October 1945, the Munich BMW plant was ordered to shut down by the US government. -
First Post War Car
The first post world war BMW vehicle was the BMW 501. Its a large saloon that could seat up to six people. Because of its expense, it was not commercially successful due to post world war times. -
Dingolfing Plant
After reaching capacity in the 1960s, BMW created a new factory in DIngolfing and Landshut germany. -
Regensburg Plant
The Regensburg plant was taken in November of 1982 as the BMW 3 series became more popular and demand increased. -
Description
My timeline describes the early history of the car producer BMW. I gathered information on the early stages of the company and also included lots of events that took place during the world war, which affected BMW a lot. The tool I used was TimeToast because I felt this tool had a great layout that provided easy-to-read timelines. This tool allows me to easily share the assignment with others. I was able to easily add links photos, videos, and descriptions with this tool.
