United Notion Partition Plan
It passed a resolution calling for Palestine to be put between Arabs and Jews. That allowed the Jewish state of Israel to be formed. Since Palestine had been under the control of Britain, that Supported the formation of the Jewish state in the holy land. -
6 Day War
It started in the date below and ended on June 10 1967. It had a significant effect upon Palestinian nationalism. Israel gained control over the entire West Bank. The PLO could not establish any control over the land. -
War of Attrition
This war lasted till August 1970. The ICF attacked of the first time in Upper Egypt. Egyptians Opened heavy fire on Israeli targets by the Canal. -
"Yom Kippur War"
In the first start of war, the Egyptians succeeded in crossing the canal and made a bridgehead. Israeli forces made there own bridgehead on the West Bank. -
Lebanon War
Israel was very successful and Palestine militants were defeated within a couple weeks. PLO headquarters were evacuated. This war led to unforeseen results. -
Peace Process
The Palestine Liberation Organization led by Yasser Arafat wanted to find peaceful solutions through what is known as the Oslo peace process. An important milestone in this process was Arafat's letter of recognition of Israel's right to exist. -
Camp David Summer
President Bill Clinton made a peace summit between the Palestinian President and the Israeli Prime Minister. The Prime Minister reportedly put forward the following as "bases for negotiation". The offer also had 69 Jewish settlements. -
Road Map For Peace
The plan was not attempting to resolve and difficult questions, like to future of Jerusalem or Israeli settlements. The proposal never made it to the first phrase. Neither goal had been achieved. -
Violence Between the Palestinians and The Israelis
The violence started when Minister Moshe Ya’alon signed a decree banning the Murabitun and Murabatat male and female Islamist activist groups. Over 2,000 Palestinians were badly injured in the month of October in 2015. -
United States Commits $38 Billion over Ten Years to Military Assistance for Israel
This deal was the largest agreement the U.S. has ever had with any country. Israel had spent part of the funds on Military products. Internally spending the money has been a major sticking point in the deal.
