The Passover we continue to celebrate today is when the Angel of Death passed over each house that had the blood of a lamb on it. The Egyptian homes that did not have the blood of the lamb, the firstborn was killed. The significance is that God watches out for His people.

Moses and the Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years with God's supervision. He helped them the whole way and showed them the path but they still didn't trust God or understand He was helping them. Significance, God is with us always and wants the best for us.

After wandering for 40 years, Joshua was put in charge of Israel. It was sudden, but complete how Joshua led the Israelites to settlement in Canaan. Significance, Joshua found the Israelites a safe place to stay and live.

Gideon led the Israelites for 40 years but Gideon wanted more than God had given him. Gideon won with only 300 men. Significance, that Gideon did what God wanted him to do.

God gave Samson strength but when Delilah was working for people who didn't like Samson. She tricked him into giving up his strength. In the end, before he got persecuted, Samson asked God to give him strength one more time and He did. Significance, God gave Samson strength one last time.
