Once Abraham and his wife Sarah, and his nephew Lot got to the promised land Abraham built an altar to glorify God. Joseph was sold into Slavery by his own brothers and worked as a servant for an Egyptian man. Joseph was then thrown in prison, acused by his wife who said he stole from his house. Joseph's brothers did what they did for Evil but God planned it for good. -
Israel had been taken captive by the Egyptians and was forced to work as slaves. God sent Moses to save the Israelites with the help of God with the Ten Plagues sent to Eygpt -
After the Ten Plagues Moses led the Israelites out of Eygpt going to the promised land and they couldn't pass the Red Sea. Moses held up his staff and the waters had split in two. The parting of the Red Sea made it able so the Israelites could make it to the promised land. -
The Passover was the 10th day of the first month of the year God had told Moses and Aaron. Every family is told to take a lamb into there household and if any house was too small they are told to share with their nearest neighbor. The Passover is to remember that God freed the Israelites from Eygpt and into the promise land. -
After the Israelites escaped from Egypt Moses went up mount Sinai and got the Ten commandments from God . Moses then came back to the people and saw them worshiping a gold idol and dropped the commandments out of anger and told the Israelites not to worship others false gods but the one true God( and got 2 new 10 commandment stones) -
Moses was leading the Israelites to the promised land but Moses was disobedient and God said Moses he will not enter the promised land. Instead Joshua would lead the Israelites into the Promise land. Because Israel disobeyed God they where wandering for 40 years and could have gotten there in 40 days. -
The Israelites got to the city of Jericho but it had massive wall so they could not get in, the Israelites sent spies in the city and they found Rahab who helped them get away from the guard. Rahab had asked the spies to spare her home since different houses were on the wall forming it, the Israelites walked around the walls 7 days strait and followed what God said and the walls came falling down, every wall except Rahabs house. God led the Israelites to the promise land and conquered . -
Gideon was chosen by God to bring the Israelites back to the promise land and tell them what is right. Gideon gathered an army to take down the Cannanites but God told him to send away all the men who were afraid many others things and left him with 300 men and were told to bring no weapons, they went to battle with trumpets. God told Gideon to rescue the Israelites but Gideon needed sign's, the important's of Gideon was to save the Israelites and lead them back to the promised land. -
when Samson was born an angle told his parents not to cut his hair and they had listen to him, Samson had killed 1000 Philistines with a donkey jaw bone because they were oppressing Israelite tribes. Later he had burned Philistine feilds with 300 foxes and then married Delilah and she found out his secret, Samson was captured and asked God for Strength for the last time and broke the building down. Samson was chosen by God and punished the Philistines for what they have done
