God’s Promise to Abraham
God promised Abraham many nations. God said to Abraham, "I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore". God loved Abraham and blessed him with many nations. God will bless us only if we follow Him. -

Joseph is sold into slavery
Joseph loved to dream a lot, and his brothers hated him. His father gave him a colorful robe and his brothers hated him even more. His brothers threw him in a well and then sold him into slavery. We must not be jealous or have hatred over someone. -

Ten plagues
The Israelites were in Egypt and Pharaoh wouldn't let the Israelites go from slavery. So, God called Moses, and each time Moses asked Pharaoh to let the people go, God hardened Pharaoh's heart. Finally after the 10th plague Pharaoh let the people go. We cannot be like Pharaoh to disregard the Lord or set aside the Lord God almighty. -

The Passover
"Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb according to their fathers' houses, a lamb for a household." Moses told everyone to put blood over the doorpost. The angel of death would pass over the houses with the blood of a lamb over the doorpost. We must follow what the Lord almighty says to do and then we'll be saved. -

God parts the Red Sea
The Israelites complained to Moses because there was a great sea in front of them. There was no way to travel around it. So, Moses cried out to God to part the Red Sea. It took the Israelites a week to cross the Red Sea. We need to have faith like Moses to be strong in the Lord. -

The Ten Commandments
The Israelites were in the desert by Mt. Sinai. The Lord told Moses to go up on the mountain. When Moses went up the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights, God gave him the Ten Commandments engraved into stone by the finger of God. Moses then came down from the mountain and told the people what God commands them to do. We need to follow God's commands to honor Him. -

*1445-1406* Israelites wander in the wilderness
The Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years. Every day they complained to Moses because they didn't have any food. Then finally God gave them mana and quail every morning and evening. We need to trust God in all circumstances and not complain -

Settling Canaan
It took the tribes of Israel about 6 years to defeat the land of Canaan. Joshua split up the land between the tribes based on what God's word said to do. God blessed them. We can trust God to bless us. -

Gideon
God called Gideon to defeat the Midianites. God told Gideon to tell the men that were afraid to go home. God told Gideon "Every one who laps the water with his tongue, as a dog laps, you shall set by himself. Likewise, every one who kneels down to drink" and then Gideon defeated the Midianites using torches, trumpets, and empty jars. They smashed the jars and blew their trumpets and the Midianites surrendered. We need to be brave just like Gideon. We can pray to God for courage. -

Samson leads -1085-1065BC
Samson married Delilah. Delilah asked him where he got his strength. After telling her wrong answers several times. Samson finally tells Delilah that he has never cut his hair off. Samson is then captured and brought to the temple and he prays to God for strength. Samson leans against the two pillars and they collapsed, killing everyone including Samson. We need to not give into evil but, follow the will of God and pray to God for strength.
