    In a disputed area of Iraq a roadside bomb killed two men. One was the head of the Tuz Kurmatu town council and the other was a momber of the provinical council. Tuz Khurmatu is roughly 124 miles north of Baghdad and has been the area of much land disputes.

    Iraqi officials rejected Egypt's bank bond talks. This highlights larger trends occurring in teh Middle East such as the faltering economy of multiple countries. If the countries are not oil rich, then they are struggling. Egypt's planning minister visited Iraq this week in hopes of gaining a $4 billion bond to boost Egypt's economy.

    Shiite militiamen are suspected of attacking four different newspaper offices around Baghdad. The attacks appear to have been conducted by Shiite militiamen who are enraged over criticism printed in the newspapers about the leaders. Roughly 50 men took part in the raid destroying the offices and attacking employees.
