A new way to make a better metal. Advantage- Stronger and more sturdy metal. Disadvantage- More pollution. Steel is still made today and used on a lot of skyscrapers. -

An earlier version of the steam locomotive. Advantages- New transportation. Disadvantage- Slower than the next one. Trains are still used today. -

Something to prevent food from spoiling. Advantage- Food lasts longer. Disadvantage- Might cause food poisoning. We use the same method today with fridges and better containers. -

Thomas Edison invented the light bulb Advantage- No need to use candles anymore Disadvantage- Didn't last very long at the time. -

A tesla coil produces electricity. Advantage- More working machines and lights Disadvantage- Tesla coils can be dangerous. Tesla coils are still used today, but smaller.
