At first photography was either used to help painters or to take portraits of people. It then started to be used more frequently. Nicéphore Niépce created the photograph in 1826. -
Telegraph
The telegraph was a messaging system from one place to another. This created ways from people to talk from long distances. Samuel Morse created the telegraph in 1837. -
Sewing Machine
It was used to sew fabric and material together with a thread. This helped people not have to do it by hand, and made things go a lot faster. Elias Howe invented it in 1846. -
Dynamite
Dynamite was used for mining, constructing, and demolishing buildings or things. They used it a lot in the 1800’s for creating mines and tunnels. Alfred Nobile patented dynamite in 1867. -
Telephone
The telephone was made for talking to people from a long distance. Alexander Graham Bell is most famous for the invention of the telephone. He created it in 1876. -
Automobile
The automobile was used for transported people or things from place to place. Carl Benz created the first automobile in 1886.
