Ross rifle
The Mark 1 Ross rifle was a rifle invented in 1900 by Sir Charles Ross for the Canadian Military. The rifle was used in WW1 and was a great step above the lee en field rifle. Although the rifle was substantially better than the previous rifle, this rifle wasn’t the greatest for trench warfare. The rifle jammed easily in the muddy conditions and since there was constant firing the gun tended to overheat and seize up. -
Gas Masks
