    Expedia was launched by the Expedia group, and is an online travel agency offering hotel, flight, rental cars, activities and much more. At the time it was planned and launched, Expedia was very unique as it was the first site to offer the ability to book everything all in one place.
    Expedia was the first online travel agency, this came only 5 years after the release of the internet.

    Trade Me was founded by a computer consultant, Sam Morgan in 1999. Since then the website has expanded largely offering consumers a platform to buy and sell online. Services such as Trade Me Property and Trade Me Insurance have also be developed. Trade Me continues to grow, having lots of interested buyers. Now currently owned by APAX Partners.

    Etsy.com is founded by Rob Calin with the help of Chris Maguire and Haim Schoppic. Etsy is an online website platform for buy and sell goods. Uniqueness of this project is people can buy or sell vintage or home-made items. Moreover, people can list their items for sell only if it is twenty years old or more than that. People can buy custom or home-made photos, jewelleries and homewares. This e-commerce website is very useful to find something extra ordinary or unique hand-made goods.

    Founded by two Swedish aviation enthusiasts, this website and mobile app tracks commercial aircraft flights on a map, whilst also providing details about the flight speed, aircraft's altitude and aircraft type. This website is used by family members to track families flights as well as people who have an interest in aviation.

    AliExpress is an online market place based in China, where stores can sell products for extremely low prices. The global consumer market place was launched by the Alibaba Group. AliExpress is a planned, unique service as nearly all of the merchants are based in China, where their products are sourced, therefore making the products they sell extremely cheap.

    Pinterest was created by Ben Silberman, Evan Sharp and Paul Sciara. Its purpose was to create a virtual scrapbook where ideas are shared and collected. Pinterest was a new and unique type of media platform where users can make and view photo boards. The project was executed through out 2009-2010 making it temporary. The outcome of the project was a high functioning search engine and media platform where users could store, promote and share visual concepts.

The project is set to be finished by the end of 2022

The need to trace peoples contacts made the need and result of this project unique. The app was developed over a month making it temporary.
