Separation of Texas
The texans took The Alamo because Mexico did not want the independence of them. Santa Anna was arrested, so they forced to sign the Velasco Treaties, that granted the independence of Texas. -
The pastry war
France invaded Mexico because there was a big them with that country. The french troops use as excuse the demand of a french pastry for $600,000, because the pastry shop being destructed. -
The War with the United States
US want to control some countries of the American Continent.
In 1845 Polk sent the Mexican Congress a declaration of war, using as excuse the invasion of territory and the hundreds of kills. US advanced to Mexico and took down the Mexican Flag, to put the American Flag in the Narional Palace. -
French Invention
England, Spain and France sent troops the port of Veracruz, for the negotiation of the debt. England and France made it and stop the troops, but France did not agree and started to deploy the ships. The french army advanced forward but General Zaragoza stopped them in Puebla. Now we know as the "Batalla de Puebla". (5 May 1862) -
Second Empire with Maximilian
Benito Juarez escaped to Chihuahua, so the Conservatives brought Maximilian of Hamburgo. He was liberal, as Juarez, but they accept the conservative ideologies. After a bad Monarchy, he was executed in the Cerro de las Campanas in 1867 -
