◦The main reason why people moved was because they wanted to find work. A lot of urbanization was happening in the Industrial Revolution, and this caused many people just moved from the countryside to growing industrial cities. Others moved from Britain to another or from a different country into Britain. -

Most of the world at this point has already been settled, a newer idea of this time though was imperialism. With the advantages of transportation and advanced weapons, and the additional push to the industrial revolution imperialism formed. Europe, and parts of Asia began a big race to colonize less developed countries for their resources and populations to use as labor forces.
