Italy and Germany make an alliance with each other basically stating we won't kill you if you don't kill us. This was announced to the world on November 1st, 1936. It was called the Rome-Berlin axis. -

All of the axis powers at the time, except for Bulgaria, will invade the Soviet Union. The Baltic states weren't prepared for this invasion and were taken with ease. They would reach Moscow by October. -

Soviet Union fights back!
The Soviet Union with Axis troops at Moscow trying to take it over will send troops over forcing Germany to retreat. This was known as the Battle of Moscow. -
Pearl Harbor is bombed!
Japan thought it was a good idea to attack the USA and didn't expect the consequences. More than 2,300 Americans were killed in this "day that will live on in infamy." -
U.S.A. enters World War II
The United States didn't want to be involved in the war but were forced because of Japan bombing Pearl Harbor. The United States would've likely stayed out of the war without the bombing. Japan basically caused the Axis's demise as the US will come in destroying everything. -
Nazis and the other Axis powers declare war on the USA
The USA recently declared war on one of the Axis powers, Japan, for the bombing pearl harbor. The other Axis powers reluctantly declared war on the United States. -

Auschwitz opens up for business and begins its slaughter of people. The most recognizable group to be murdered was the Jews. (The words on the top mean 'work means freedom') (No specified date as to when they began gassing only stated 1942) -

Attack on Soviet Union Part 2

Germany surrenders for Stalingrad battle.
During the battle of Stalingrad Germany had no other choice than to surrender. This would be the first major loss for the German Army. -
Italy turns its back on its ally.
Italy would declare war on Germany. Hitler realized way beforehand this would give the allies a foothold to take out Germany so he already had plans to invade Italy. -
First concentration camp liberated
Soviets had finally been able to liberate a concentration camp. The world now sees for the first time what Germany was doing behind the curtains of war. Some people are non-believers of it however. Liberated Majdanek. -
Poland recaptured
Soviets again 'save the day' by liberating Warsaw. Germany end nears as they draw closer to Berlin. -
Auschwitz stops
Soviet Union, a few days after liberating Warsaw, liberate Auschwitz the concentration camp. Auschwitz had caused 1.1 millions deaths throughout its entire time open. -
Berlin is reached by the Allies
The Soviets reach Berlin and begin attacking it. Next month will be the demise of the Nazis -
Germany Surrenders!
On May 7th Germany surrendered to the Western Allies and on May 9th to the Soviets. This occurred due to them having their empire crumble and being encircled by the enemy. Hitler committed suicide days beforehand. -

USA got sick of Japan and had wanted the war to end already. So they would drop 2 nuclear bombs on Japan. -

Japan surrenders a few days later after being bombed by USA. This event officially ended WWII. -
