Source On March 5, 1770, a mob of American colonists taunted a group of British soldiers as well as throwing snowballs at them. As a result, the British soldiers fired at the mob."Three locals lay dead and another eight were wounded, two mortally." Because of this more Americans wanted to get rid of the British soldiers from the colony pushing more people to independence. -
The Boston Tea Party
Source On December 16, 1773, about one hundred colonists dumped around 300 chests of tea into the water. In response to this, the British tried to passed laws to gain more control of the colonists which made more colonists want independence from Britan. -
