The sewing machine was made back in the first industrial revolution, around 1830. It was made to sew clothes and other materials together. Today it is used for the same purpose. -
The Electric Generator
The electric generator was invented in 1831. The inventors name is Michael Faraday. Rather a smart thing to do, is it not? Anyways it's main use is to convert energy into electricity. We usually use this for our houses or emergency buildings. -
The Steel Plow
John Deere has invented the steel plow back in 1837.
The steel plows purpose was to break up tough soil and help control weeds. Nothing new here. -
The Telephone
The first phone was made in 1849. The main purpose of the phone was to dial for a number and then talk through the device to someone else. It's like the smartphones we use nowadays. Dial a number using those buttons and just press the call button. -
The Dynamite
Dynamite was invented by Alfred Nobel in the year of 1867. The main purpose is to blow stuff up! I played a lot of games so I obviously know what it's purpose is. I think this is probably still used in mines, AND IT IS HIGHLY DANGEROUS!! -
The Typewriter
The typewriter was made back in 1868 by Christopher Latham Sholes. It's main purpose is for a paper to be inserted and to type on buttons so you could put words on the paper. It's like the keyboards we have today. -
The Radio
The radio was invented in 1893, and the inventors name was Guglielmo Marconi. It's purpose was to do person-to-person commercials, and military messaging. We usually use radios nowadays to listen to music and for the military.
