John Kay is the inventor of the flying shuttle , one advantage of the flying shuttle is that it was one of the key developments in the industrial revolution.One disadvantage of the flying shuttle was that it took four spinners to keep it going.This invention is actually used still today along with other modern day machines.

Spinny Jenny

James Hargreaves was a British inventor that was known for the invention of the spinning jenny.The machine used eight spindles onto which the cotton was strung so with one spin of a wheel you could make 8 threads of cotton at once.One advantage is that it was faster than the spinning wheel.A disadvantage of this invention was the earlier version made much weaker thread.

Sir Richard Arkwright was an English inventor and a leading entrepreneur during the early Industrial Revolution.He invented the Water Frame.The water frame allowed you to create cotton way easier then before the water frame.One advantage is that it increased supply of cloth.A disadvantage is that many people lost there jobs because of this.

Samuel Compton is a English inventor that invented the spinning mule.The spinning mule is a machine that made it possible to make high-quality thread and yarn.One advantage of this invention was high delivery speeds.A disadvantage was that it gave a type of cancer.

Watt Steam Engine

James Watt was a Scottish British innovator.He innovated Thomas Newcomen's 1712 Newcomen steam engine with his Watt steam engine in 1781.One advantage is that it was more fit for industrial power.A disadvantage was it had low efficiency.

Steamboat

One advantage for the steamboat is that it allowed travelers to go upstream and downstream.A disadvantage for the steamboat is that the steam engine would accumulate too much pressure and explode.

A steam locomotive is a type of railway locomotive that produces its pulling power through a steam engine.One advantage is that it can take a good amount of damage.A disadvantage is that its huge and heavy.

One advantage on Steel is that once you have it set in place and in shape, you can expect it to stay that way, because of how tough it is. One disadvantage is that it is so heavy that it is hard to move around.
