    Steam Engine
    The steam enginne wasn't really invented. It was more of developed over time. The very first steam engine was made by Thomas Savery. It wasn't really an engine. It was a simple machine with no moving parts, it was used to pump water out of coal mines, but it was a way to use steam in a usefull way Eventuly people begain to improve Savery's design. The first person to update it was Thomas Newcomen, then James Watt in 1763.

    Sewing machines may not seem very important, but it was a big step up from hand sewing. One of the first sewing machines was made by a French embroider Barthelmy Thimonnier. It didn't have very strong seams but it worked to sew. People started to improve the idea of a sewing machine over time. Elias Howe and Issac Sinnger made sewing machines that made stronger seams and worked alot better.

    The Telegragh was many of the improvements in communication. With the telegragh you could send a messege much faster than leters. The inventor of the telegragh was Samuel Morse.

    How long would you go with out being able to call (or text) someone. The telephone was a great improvment in communication.The telephone was another inventionthat was improved over time. The first phone was planned by an Italian inovater. Eventuly people begain to improve the design. One of the well known inovater was Alexander Bell.

    Dynamite was quite important in the past. It was a safer way to blast holes through mountains and clear big objects from paths. Without dynamite we would only be using stone and metal tools and break away stone. The inventor of dynamite was Alfred Noble.

    The inventor of vaccines was Louis Pasteur. Diseases were spreading and people were dying because of it. Pasteur was a chemist and finally came up with the medication that would help people fight the sicknesses.

    The first plane to fly was the one invented by Wright brothers. This was a very important change in history. It improved transportation, even if the time it worked it only flew for 12 seconds.
