  • Soekarno-Hatta moves

    Due to the Dutch soldiers landing in Tanjung Priok, Soekarno-Hatta moved to Yoyakarta, thus changing the Indonesian capital from Jakarta to Yogykarta for a while
  • Linggarjati

    After the Independence, Indonesia and Dutch signed the Linggarjati conference which removes Dutch from a majority of Indonesia
  • Dutch Military Agression 1

    Folowing Linggarjati, the Dutch responded with force, which lead to the first Dutch Military Agression act, due to the fact tht Dutch still believes Indonesia iss theirs by right
  • Cease Fire of DMA 1

    Following the agression, the United Nations asked for Dutch and indonesia to conduct a cease fire until a new deal can be made. However, the cease fire was in Dutch's favor
  • Renville

    The United Nations formed the Committee of Good Offices for Indonesia which is made up of three countries, Belgia, Australia and America. They formed a new conference so that Dutch once again leaves Indonesia
  • Dutch Military Agression 2

    History repeats itself. Like what happened with Linggarjati, the Renville conference produced another Dutch Military Agression act. This time they attacked Yogyakarta, and the act was witnessed by the CoGOoI

    Before the DMA 2, Soekarno-Hatta managed to create an emergency cabinet so that Indonesia can still function. They did this via a man known as Syafruddin Prawiranegara. They created this cabinet so that the country can function without them
