Saladin retakes the city of Jerusalem
Jerusalem was under Christians control. Jerusalem is holy to Muslims and Saladin is Muslim so he fought against Christians for Jerusalem. On October 2, 1187 he captured Jerusalim over the Christians.

The 3rd crusade was caused by the capture of Jerusalem by
Saladin. It was between Europeans leaders and Saladin. The result of the war was Jerusalem was still under muslims control and trade was allowed between christians and Muslims.

Suez canal incident
The British and Fremch joined forces with Israel to take control of the Suez canal. The U.N. salvage team moved in to clear the canal and the Egyptian government was allowed to maintain control of the canal. After the war, France and England gave up their African colonial empires. Battle of Algiers
It was an Algerian war for independance from the the French colonists and government. It's an account of the bloodiest revolution in modern history. At the end of the war Algeria got it's independence from France.

9/11 was a four suicide attacks on the U.S. by Al queda. Nearly 3,000 people died. The United States responded to the atttacks by starting the war on terror and invadin Afghanistan to depose the Talibam, which had harbored Al queda.

Operation Iraqui freedom
The U.S. claimed Iraq has weapons of mass distruction(W.M.D), was a threat to security, and some U.S. officials accused Saddam Hussein of supporting Al queda. In 2004 the U.N. found no evidence of W.M.D. The results of the war was improvements of public security, execution of Saddam Hussein and a formation of new government in Iraq.
