The Observatory of Public Policies was created
The Observatory of Public Policies It is an academic and coordination unit of the Icesi University that aims to monitor and evaluate political events and decisions and public policies of general interest or considered strategic for the development of Valle del Cauca. -
The Research Center for Economics and Finance was started
With the aim of contributing through economic and financial studies in local and national discussions about the economic future, the business environment and public and private finances. -
The Stock Exchange Point was opened in Icesi University
In agreement with the Colombian Stock Exchange. It’s the first university with an exchange point in southwestern Colombia, being a pioneer and leader in education in markets national and international financial. -
The Accounting and Financial Office was created
Which provides financial and accounting services and studies for companies from the Icesi University. -
The Acreditación Institucional de Alta Calidad certificada por el Consejo Nacional de Acreditación del Ministerio de Educación Nacional was achieved by the Icesi University

The Master of Administration program was accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
In its 2 modalities, a double degree Global MBA with the University of Tulane and an Icesi MBA. -
The International AACSB Accreditation of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business was obtained by ICESI.
The AACSB is an international institution that certifies the academic quality of business schools around the world. -
The Observatory for business sustainability, Kairós, was created
Which is a space for observation and analysis of business practices in the area of business sustainability. -
Doctorate in Business Economics was started.
Is the first doctorate of the Icesi University. -
The accreditation of Public Accounting and International Finance was renewed
This recognition by the Colombian State of the quality of the program confirms its commitment to academic excellence and brings it closer to fulfilling the University's vision of the future. It was renewed for the term of eight 8 years.
