    British soldiers fired on a group of unarmed people , this started the war of independence.

    Political protest against the British making Colonists pay taxes for tea; in order to rebel the colonists dumped the supply of tea into the water.

    Parliament published laws in order to punish the colonists in Boston as well as other locations.

    Very harsh laws laid down by the British parliament this was to punish Americans for the tea party.
  • The Second Continental Congress

    The British government refused the compromise. This reacted to the Declaration of rights which in turn became stricter and had more repressive matters.
